Which Permanent Make Up Needle to Use For Which Lip?
Naomi has taken some time to write you a brief on the needles to use and the results you should expect to get...
This needle can be used to produce a seamless lip line and blush with the most natural effect. Ideal for clients that want no lip liner visible. Suitable for shading for the blush or full lip colour also. Go easy with your pressure to ensure even coverage without ashing of the pigment colour.
3 Outline/3 Tight Liner (0803)
This is a great lip line needle that can be used to create a super sharp, defined lip line. This is my go to needle for more mature lip skin that has lost its natural vermillion border. Creates a crisp lip border, enviable to even the most youthful looking lip! Suitable for lip line and shading for both blush and full lip colour.
3 Liner/3RL (1203)
This needle configuration would be for a basic crisp lip line. Not as crisp as the 3 outline but still very defined. Suitable for lining and shading lips alike.
This needle can be used for lip lining like a 1 liner effect in one direction, turn it on its side and use it as a shader. Such a versatile needle that has so many uses.
Slightly softer diffused look on lips. Packs a lot of colour into a larger area. Allows for more light to pass through the skin, softening the healed effect of the pigment colour used. Great for more youthful lips when using as a liner. Can be used for blushing and full lip treatments.
Very soft diffused look on lips. Packs a lot of colour into a larger area. Allows for more light to pass through the skin, softening the healed effect of the pigment colour used. Ideal for lip stain looks that are subtle and natural. Great for more youthful lips when using as a liner which still have a natural vermillion border. Not ideal for older mature skin as a lip liner. Can be used for blushing and full lip treatments.
Although not suitable for a lip liner, this needle packs the colour into the lip when shading. Maximum colour retention with minimum trauma to the lip.
